About Us
Anna & Cali
Anna grew up in Issaquah, WA with her two sisters, Sarah and Leah, and her parents, Judy and Paul. She attended Central Washington University for her BA in Psychology and is currently finishing her last semester at Arizona State University for a MS in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She loves to spend time with her friends and family, and her favorite place to be is the Oregon coast. In her free time, you can find her cycling, gardening, reading, or her current obsession, going to Barre 3 fitness classes with Cali.
Cali is originally from Salinas, CA where he grew up with his brother Michael, sister Christina, and parents Helen and Angelo. After working in hospitality management for years (which originally brought him to Seattle), he attended University of Washington for a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He currently works as a Mechatronics Engineer for Intellectual Ventures Laboratory. When he isn’t working on his own engineering projects in his free time, he loves going for bike rides with Anna, gardening, and creating delicious food in the kitchen.
Our Story
The story started as most modern love stories do, with a swipe right on a dating app, which then led to long messages back and forth. Very long messages. Novels, even. When Anna and Cali met for their first date, they both knew this was it. After walking around a park in Downtown Bellevue for 2 hours while talking, they finally decided to call it a night. This was, however, just the beginning of something truly special.
They were (and still are) practically inseparable. After dating for almost 6 months, they took a very normal step in any early, serious relationship, and bought a car together. The rest is, as they say, too long to write for a wedding website.
Anna and Cali currently live in Ballard, a beautiful neighborhood of Seattle, with their two cats Koda and Max. They have a thriving vegetable garden with perhaps too many tomato plants (but is there such a thing?) and love going on bicycle rides together along the water on the Burke-Gilman trail.
